The Sino-US Joint Doctoral Training Program in Environmental Engineering is sponsored by the China Scholarship Council's Innovative Talent International Cooperation Training Program. Nanjing University and the University of Cincinnati have launched joint doctoral training in environmental engineering. The program will recruit two joint doctoral students to Nanjing University each year, and the China Scholarship Council will cover travel and living expenses for the joint doctoral students. Selected students will have the opportunity to study at the University of Cincinnati's Department of Environmental Engineering or the Cincinnati branch of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for one year. Each year, according to the requirements of the notification on determining the funding projects for the 2019 Innovative Talent International Cooperation Training Program issued by the China Scholarship Council, and the overall arrangement of the national study abroad program of Nanjing University, the Sino-US project team will carry out the specific work of the "Sino-US Joint Doctoral Training Program in Environmental Engineering."
