 Department of Environmental Engineering has now four Ph. D. Supervisors, four professors and several associate professors and lecturers. Now, the Department is capable of forming professionals from undergraduates to post-doctoral scholars. The Department has many international academic activities, and has established contacts with universities and institutes in America, European countries and regions like Hong Kong and Taiwan. Every semester, many overseas or foreign scholars and experts visit the department and deliver lectures or reports. The Department of Environmental Engineering has established many concentrations, which are related to the main environmental pollution problem today. Besides, the Department has done extensive researches and exploitations in the pollution control of water, solid disposals, and gas. It has discovered many new technologies for pollution solutions.
